Today’s Nebraska farmers and ranchers are dealing with tight margins, devastating weather events in addition to the everyday stress and workload of managing crops and livestock. When under stress, accidents are more likely to occur, leading to devastating consequences. It is important to remind our farmers and ranchers of resources available to help them deal with the stresses of their jobs.
Youth in rural communities are also impacted by the stress they see from adults in their lives and need effective and positive ways to cope with those stresses. Find out what a team of Nebraska Extension faculty/staff are working on for audiences of all ages. Hands-on resources will be provided and/or demonstrated.
